VISA INFORMATION 

NOTICE: Updated Entry Declaration Requirements at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Effective from: 15 April 2026

1. Applicable to

  • Foreign passport holders
  • Overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam with a valid visa or visa exemption

Not applicable to:

  • Vietnamese passport holders
  • Transit passengers

2. Entry Declaration Requirement

From 15 April 2026, all applicable passengers are required to complete a personal information declaration and obtain a QR code prior to immigration procedures at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

The QR code must be presented at the immigration checkpoint upon arrival.

3. How to Complete the Declaration

Passengers may choose one of the following options:

Option 1 (Recommended): Complete online before departure
 → Access: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/
 This option helps save time and avoid waiting at the airport.

Option 2: Complete upon arrival
 → Scan the QR codes available at the immigration area at Tan Son Nhat Airport and follow the instructions.

4. Purpose

  • Enhance the efficiency of immigration procedures
  • Ensure a faster and more convenient entry process

Passengers are strongly advised to complete the declaration before departure to ensure a smooth arrival experience.
