3D printing technology in the industrial revolution 4.0
3D printing technology has always been considered as one of the typical components of the industrial revolution 4.0, and 3D printing is also considered as one of the most flexible production methods, helping production enterprises to save time.
In addition to the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, smart city, artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, robots, new materials, nano technology, 3D printing technology is also considered one of the components Industry 4.0, helping many businesses make cognitive breakthroughs in biological processes.
If in the past the product model had to be pre-cast or had to be pre-tested for a product, the 3D model now allows designers and engineers to work more effectively, accelerating the process and helping producers to give ideas in a short time and cost savings.
Fabbaloo commented that the 3D printer is one of the most flexible production methods. However, there are some limitations of 3D printers such as to be seperately operated, still need the operator, get the finished product, fill the material and perform the product finishing by hand. Therefore, in order to promote in the industrial revolution 4.0, 3D printers should improve on this limitation by possibly integrating to sensor and robot technologies.
